Award of PhD Degree in Entrepreneurship at Makerere University, Award of Masters of Commerce (Mcom) at University of Kwazulu-Natal, South Africa adn Bachelor’s degree in Management at the National University of Rwanda (NUR).

I have taught at the former National University of Rwanda and the University of Rwanda various modules such as Scientific Research Methodology,  Entrepreneurship Development , Business Environment , Management function I,  Business strategy and development, Business Research Methodology and Research Data Analysis.

Doctor of philosophy in management student at Mbarara University of science and technology (MUST) .

Master Degree in Business Administration (HR), Post Graduate Diploma in Education and a Bachlor Degree in Business Administration (marketing).

Two years of service as assistant HR Nyagatare District and eight years of university teaching at UR

Area of research

Samuel Kamugisha

Samuel Kamugisha is currently a PhD Candidate at Jönköping International Business School in Sweden.  He is Lecturer at the, College of Business and Economics in the School of Business. He holds a Master of Business administration with a major in Strategic Management from the University of Nairobi and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance from the National University of Rwanda (currently University of Rwanda).


Liberata MUKAMANA holds a Bachelor of  economics at the former National University of Rwanda(2007), a master's degrees in Microfinance from The University of Belgamo (Italy, 2008), a Post Graduate Diploma in Gender and Local Economic Development from Makerere University (Uganda, 2011), a Master in Economics from Kampala International University(Uganda,2014). She is currently(2018) a PhD candidate in gender studies at Makerere University, Uganda.

Sayinzoga Aussi

Aussi Sayinzoga has an 18-years experience as lecturer of courses including Econometrics, National Economic Accounts,  Macroeconomics, Public finance, and Entrepreneurship and project management. Aussi earned his Master degree in Economics at KwaZulu Natal in South Africa, and is currently pursuing a PhD at Wageningen University in The Netherlands.

Kabanda Richard

Kabanda Richard is a Lecturer of Economics, in the school of Economics and Governance at the University of Rwanda. He is a Ph. D holder in Economics from University of Nairobi, and University of Daresalam; under the Collaboration PhD Programme/Africa Economic Research Consortium (CPP/AERC) from 2011 to 2016. Course: Econometrics & Public Sector Economics. He has over 13 years of teaching Economics at University, and consultancy experience. More specifically, he is focused in Public sector economics, and to some extent, microeconomics, macroeconomics, and econometrics.

Jean Bosco SHEMA

Jean Bosco SHEMA is holder of a Masters Degree in Finance and Accounting from Liege University and is currently a PhD Student in Jönköping University in Sweden in Business Administration with orientation in Accounting. I started my academic career in 1999 with the former National University of Rwanda in the Faculty of Economics, Social and Management Sciences. I held different academic administrative positions such as Secretary of the Department, Secretary of the Faculty and Vice-Dean of the Faculty and Advisor to the Vice-Rector of Administration and Finance.
